Hegseth calls out Europe over lack of migration control at D-Day event

Commemorations have been held in Normandy to honour war veterans on the 82nd anniversary of the D-Day landings.

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth spoke at the event, comparing the 1944 landings to Europe’s immigration policies.

“Sadly, today, different European beaches are stormed by different dangerous ideologies … when will European capitals do something about that?” Mr Hegseth said.
