‘Topsy turvy’: Trump’s pause on renewed attacks on Iran sends US markets higher
CommSec’s James Gruber has analysed the US share markets on Wall Street, which went “topsy turvy” overnight.
“President Trump came out later in the day and said that he’d agreed to pause renewed attacks against Iran, and that sent markets higher,” he told Sky News Australia.
“The S&P 500 finished down 0.1 per cent, and the Nasdaq was 0.5 per cent lower.”
