Trump secures major Boeing deal in high-level executive talks with China

Republican commentator John Deaton spoke on US President Donald Trump’s high-profile meeting in Beijing with major US business leaders and the reported strengthening of US-China economic ties.

“Trump brought many of the biggest CEOs and executives in American companies, Elon Musk, NVIDIA’s CEO … and said that basically that it was a great meeting and that Boeing secured one of the biggest contracts ever and that the America-China relationship is more stable and healthier than it’s ever been,” Mr Deaton told Sky News Australia.

“There wasn’t a lot of detail except for that one Boeing deal and promises of the future.

“President Trump called it a very productive meeting.”
