‘Backflips and lies’: Albanese breaks promise on negative gearing and capital gains

Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger lashes out at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for “backflipping” on negative gearing and capital gains tax changes.

“He’s building up quite a track record of these backflips and lies, whatever you want to call them, that will do very badly in an election,” Mr Kroger told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“It ain’t going to age well.”
