‘Frustrated’: Donald Trump faces reality as Iran holds Hormuz choke point

The Australian columnist Tom Switzer believes Donald Trump is growing frustrated as Iran tightens its grip on the Strait of Hormuz.

“My sense is that President Trump is very frustrated,” Mr Switzer told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“The Iranian’s effectively control the Strait of Hormuz, and there’s no evidence that Tehran will relinquish that control.

“There’s no real evidence that we can tell that the Iranians are prepared to make the necessary concessions on Uranium enrichment that will satisfy President Trump’s plans for a peace deal.”
